Risk Assessment Training Course

The Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999 state that there is a legal responsibility to assess risks that exist in the workplace and anyone carrying out the risk assessment must be competent to do so.

Introduction

This course is designed to help improve the workplace culture for occupational health and safety by enabling learners to understand the basic principles of risk assessment.

Who needs this qualification?

Anyone within the working environment as everyone should be aware of the concept of risk assessments.  Although not all employees will need to undertake risk assessments they may have to contribute to the process and act on the findings and must always protect their own health and safety and that of others.
